I’m a Clippers fan. Our entire fanbase is appalled at how much playing time Marcus Morris gets. What player on your favorite team is getting too many minutes when they don’t deserve it?
For us, Morris doesn’t play D, doesn’t hit open 3s, doesn’t do anything really, yet Ty Lue still gives him 30 mins a night.
Who on your favorite team is getting playing time when they should be riding the bench?

[Lewis] Ben Simmons looking less and less likely to return this season. He still hasn’t started practicing fully yet, limited to individual work.
Injured Net Ben Simmons still hasn’t started practicing fully yet, limited to individual work. And with just nine games left in the regular season, coach Jacque Vaughn hasn’t allowed himself to think about whether there is time for Simmons to get up to speed with his teammates even if he does get healthy.
“That’s the great thing, is I don’t even think that far ahead. I don’t even complicate my life that way,” Vaughn said. “I’m concerned about [now]. If those questions present themselves, I’ll be more than willing to see how it fits with the group and answer them at that time. But I don’t want to look that far ahead.”
"It is not with teammates, so I’ll say that piece of it. So, he hasn’t scripted with our group, our second group, first group, or anything of that nature,” said Vaughn, who said the injured point/forward hasn’t made any significant improvement or taken any notable steps in the past week.
“Ben is in the same position he was the last time I talked to you, nothing further to comment on. I don’t think I can give you anything else. There’s been no … there’s been no nothing to add, really.”
[NYT] Ja Morant Moves Toward ‘Redemption’ After Gun Video: “I said I had a role, but I didn’t say anything about doing anything wrong. All those cases is sealed, so I can’t speak on those cases. When I have my time to, everybody will know the actual truth in every incident that I’ve been in.”

Highlight [Highlight] Chaos after the Donovan Mitchell FT Miss leads to the incredible and improbable Okoro game winner!
[Keith Smith] The Hornets have bewilderingly been sitting on an open standard roster spot and open Two-Way spot for a while. Now, they are down to seven healthy players.
https://twitter.com/keithsmithnba/status/1639251104935575553?s=46&t=YyTA7xPpKfChH916DENNZw
They also lost Dennis Smith due to illness in this game.
It's beyond time to sign a couple of guys. This is just dumb now.
https://twitter.com/KeithSmithNBA/status/1639251921457532928
There is no reason at all for a bad team that is a mile from the luxury tax to sit on open roster spots late in the season. Just being cheap.
They should be bringing players in on 10 days and filling the Two-Way. Churn the bottom of the roster and see if you can find a diamond.
This was the Hornets bench at the end of last night's game. Despite being shorthanded, young prospects James Bouknight and Theo Maledon did not travel with the team, instead staying in the G-league despite being full-contract players.
I have never seen this level of negligence and apathy from a team, even at this point in a lost season. Is MJ saving every penny in anticipation of his upcoming sale?

[Lowe Post] Van Gundy: there has been a huge uptick in the amount of verbal abuse the referees are subjected to and expected to take
https://open.spotify.com/episode/2K2wotjq2zanJkBmlktnCl?si=3WWUGifcQ4OKXaWEBOS3YQ
Happens at the 15 minute mark but the whole first 15 minutes is a good discussion of the refereeing situation that happened last night. Van Gundy thinks the refs screwed up majorly and should accept blame but he also says on a larger scale that the players are allowed to complain too much (both Lowe and JVG talk about how Luka complains literally every single play).

Anthony Davis explains mental state couple days after injury in December: "I'm like, shaking," Davis told ESPN last week, jittering his hand to illustrate his state on that day in December. "I'm just so mad and sad at the same time. ... Frustrated."
Davis' family let him be, and the anger bubbled up back inside him -- until he grabbed the sheet of paper Nala gifted him.
"There's a f---ing rainbow," Davis said with his eyes widened.
"She just drew a rainbow because she likes rainbows, or this girl is really smart to the point where ..." Davis paused, and a smile covered his face. "At the end of every storm there's a f---ing rainbow."
“Fans” tend to forget these are human beings and these injuries aren’t just a joke to them, it’s their body and their career but oh well

Dennis Schroder is leading the Lakers in PPG this season
Dennis Schroder is leading the Lakers in PPG this season at 12.7 points per game.
LeBron, AD etc haven't played enough games, so when this season is over, Dennis Schroder will go down in history books as leading the team at 12.7 PPG.

Mobley was awesome tonight on both sides of the floor and completely impacted the game in a crucial way. He was guarding 1-5 all night and had some clutch baskets and rebounds down the stretch. Cavs steal one tonight

Kawhi Leonard is shooting 52/42/87 for the SEASON. Arguably his most efficient season ever
People almost called it a career for him due to his injuries piling up and the amount of games he has missed. There was a point where he didn’t play back-to-back games for 2 years I believe.
His 52/42/87 shooting splits while averaging 24/6/4 is the best shooting he’s had at once across the board. I would love for him to get his shot attempts up as he’s only shooting 16.7 a game — the 5th highest since he came into his own in 15/16.
He is a straight killer and I really wonder what makes him so efficient?
Don’t sleep on Kawhi
Edit: He is shooting 55/51/89 in his last 10 games averaging 29/6/7. WTF IS THIS DUDE!!!!!!

[Bontemps] “Jimmy Butler absolutely will be All-NBA this season. He will be 2nd team All-NBA.. Look at the All-NBA forwards. There’s 3 guys who are definitely gonna make All-NBA: Giannis, Jayson Tatum and Jimmy Butler.”
McMahon: I think Donovan Mitchell will be All-NBA this season and Jimmy Butler probably won’t.
Bontemps: Jimmy Butler absolutely will be All-NBA this season. He will be 2nd team All-NBA. Locked in. Look at the All-NBA forwards. There’s 3 guys who are definitely gonna make All-NBA: Giannis, Jayson Tatum and Jimmy Butler. After that, All-NBA forwards is an adventure (due to injury).
Context: This conversation stemmed from a debate on who the best player would be in a hypothetical Heat-Cavs 1st round series.
